Our Story

Hi there,

I'm Rahul, trained engineer, and major candle enthusiast. 

I burn a candle just about everyday, it is my end of day routine, turning my living room into a sanctuary. But I have never been able to stand the procedure of lighting candles. The unseemly lighter, bits of extra matches, and burnt fingers were never a nice entrance to my sanctuary.

So I did what any engineer with a problem does: I engineered a solution, spent two years testing and refining it, found the best suppliers and made my invention a product.

Diya is everything a candle should be: easy to use, beautiful, soy wax, and premium fragrances.
